With the help of Magellan's POI File Editor software, you can create custom points of interest (POI) for your compatible Magellan device.
Magellan’s POI File Editor converts our files to a proprietary Magellan format (MGLM), which is compatible with your Magellan device.
Detailed instructions for installing the POI files to your Magellan device are included in the zipped file located on the download page.

Step by step Magellan downloading instructions
Read the basic instructions below carefully and print them for ease of use.
| 1. | Download and unzip your files. |
| 2. | Turn on your Magellan device and attach via a USB connection to your computer. |
| 3. | Use the Magellan POI File Editor to convert and upload the data to your Magellan device. |
| 4. | View/search for your new POIs. |
